Daily Post--2/25/08
I'm sorry I can't give the nutr. stats cause I don't have a bag of them right now, but I love the Gen Soy crisps--esp. the cheddar flavor. I use them as a cracker w/ cheese or w/ dips or just alone. (I have to be careful when I get the apple cinn. flavor cause I want to just eat the whole bag.)
Also, I eat popcorn just sprayed w/ the fake butter spray and sometimes sprinkled w/ some parmesan.
I also just found the new South Beach Granola Clusters--they come in a small box that contains 5 packs. I like the Cherry Almond variety (I think they have others?). The stats are as follows: (per packet) 130 cals., 4 g. fat, 18 carbs (may be high for some; they don't bother me), 6 g. fiber, 6 g. protein. I found them at Walmart.
An apple is also one of my fav. "crunchers," but that doesn't satisfy if I'm wanting something in the salty-crunchy category!
I have been using cheese cubes alot. So when I want salty crunchy I take four or five frito scoups fpr salsa and take my 3 cubes break in half drop into each scoup and melt in the microwave. Some times I had a teaspoon of salsa in them after it comes out of the microwave. I don' t have the stats on this.
