Daily Post--2/19/08

So far I have found success at Outback. I've been there 3 times now and all 3 times they allowed me to split a meal (I got the hearts of gold tilapia) and I had absolutely no problems eating it, my pouch loved it! I'm anxious to hear others experiences at other restaurants that I have yet to try.

I've found that our local restaurants where I eat have been very accommodating to allowing me to order off the kids/senior items. I explain my situation to them and they are all good with it. Michele

I usually just order regular meals and take most of it home for two meals at home. I love Wendys!

When eating out my husband asks me what we're having - as I won't eat a full portion and we tend to share - somedays I can and do order something for myself, but usually from the appetizer menu - I never used to like shrimp, but now I really like it.

I have not tried to order form the kids menu yet,, I do eat out alot but i usually find something I can eat and the rest I take home for the next few meals...

I dont eat out often, but so far, if I ask for small portions or specific items they have been really good at accomodating me. Applebees, Village Inn, and a small local diner. Vivienne

I haven't had an issue eating anywhere. Mexican (fajitas or any chicken dish), Chilis (great fish dish), any seafood resturant, Ruby Tuesdays. I don't have any food intolerances.

Golden Corral has been very easy. The sampling of food that I can get plus they honor my weight loss surgery card. There are many times that I'll just share a meal with someone so I don't use my card very often.
