ROLL CALL! 2/18/08
Yeah, we are home--got home about 11 pm on Monday night. The walk and the trip were awesome. We all had a blast (14 of us went). I was able to do my five miles in 1 hour and 20 minutes (average of 16 mins per mile). We were to do it in under an hour and a half. Mandy did hers in an hour and 10 minutes, so I guess that I didn't do too bad considering she's 25 years younger than I am and in so much better shape! LOL I never had the first day of soreness when so many of the others were moaning still two days later. That was the awesome part--no soreness! I am going to do it again in May... We'll do a 3 mile Race for a Cure walk on Saturday, May 3 and then drive to Cincinnati for a marathon on Sunday May 4 (the Flying Pig marathon if any of you are familiar with it). I'm excited about it!

This week has been really rough on me so far. I had a myelogram done on Monday to see how bad the damage to my back really is...radiologist had problems getting needle into my spinal canal which caused swelling and I've been in intense pain ever since. I have been out of work since the test. I have been cleared to go back to work tomorrow, but have not been cleared to do any exercise yet. I am frustrated of course, but I go back to my dr on Monday and hopefully the results from my myelogram are positive and he'll clear me to start exercising again.
