Daily Post--2/16/08
When I was newly post op I just made sure to rest when I was tired. Anymore if I'm tired I stop and re-evaluate my day...did I get enough protein, water, etc. Sometimes I get tired when I've not met my food and liquid goals and of course I ALWAYS make sure I've taken my vitamins!! But if I've done everything I'm supposed to do and I still am tired them I know I just need to give into it and rest/sleep!!

OH Boy, This is one I wish I had an answer too.. When I get that tired, I sleep, and sleep. I usually find out it happens when I am not taking my vitamins everyday, if I miss a few days, I am totally exhausted. I try and take them everyday, but there are times that I miss a few days.. Cynthia
I honestly don't remember much about this phase. Immediately post-op, my sister came and helped out around the house for several days (my dh was also very helpful). But I felt amazingly well from the time I came home from the hosp.! I followed my protocol extremely closely, which I think reallly helped. I rested a lot during the 3 wks. that I was home from work--and, of course, it helped that I didn't have children at home any more!!
Before long, I started having MORE energy than I'd had for YEARS!!
