So far I have only had a bad reaction to eating cereal w/milk (bran flakes w/2% milk). I guess it's too many sugar grams or all the sugar hitting the intestines all at once. I get extremely sleepy and basically pass out. It was for about over an hour or so, but when I awoke, I was fine. After the first time, I really didn't put 2 and 2 together, but the second time I realized what had happened and needless to say, I try to stay away from cereal and milk. This saddens me a little because cereal w/milk use to me my alltime favorite anytime meal. Happy Friday, Felicia

I dump with too much sugar (but like 50grams) and only then if eaten alone. If I have a little protein with it, it minimizes the symptons. Eggs don't like me much (auto eject, and or pain and heavy feeling) but that happened sometimes before surgery.

Egg beaters and venison don't sit well. I think I just ate the egg beaters too often pre-op, and I just can't look at them anymore. I have to be very careful with the venison or it will come back up, but if I chew very, very slowly, I'm okay. I seem to be able to eat fatty and sugary foods, but I've only had 1 bite here and there. I wish I couldn't eat them at all! For the first 2 months after the surgery, water, of all things, gave me the biggest problem. I had to put a slice of lemon in it to be able to get it down.

Beef gives me the same reaction that sugar gives me the sweats, nausea, and feeling like I'm going to have a heart attack plus it also feels like a rock in my stomach. And I loved beef so much before wls.

I can't anything like pasta or breads. They get stuck and I will vomit. Anything that's doughy, I've learned to stay away from. I hate that because I love dumplings and I can't have those either. Bummer!! Michele

I can't eat anything that's pasta, rice or has sugar. I end up dumping with the sweats, stomach pain, and the throwing up thing and this lasts a few hours. Michelle

I have trouble with red meat and most pork. I can eat ham and the 98% fat free hamburger. If I eat red meat or pork it just comes back up. So I eat a lot of chicken, turkey, eggs and beans.

Just found out today Virgin Strawberry Daquiri's are not good. I got rapid heart beat and sweats. I cannot eat bread...I get instant pain and vomiting. I cannot do pork roast or hamburgers.
