Bread and regular (non whole wheat) pasta make me feel very ill. I have actually vomited from eating a white flour tortilla. Bread and pasta were two of my biggest downfalls prior to surgery so I view getting sick on these things a blessing. I like to think of it as "forced behavior modification".

No problems here with any foods.I wish some foods would bother me but they don't.The only way I get into trouble is if I eat to much. You would think I would have learned that by now. Patti

I can't do bread of any kind - even toast feels like a lump. Chicken and turkey, I can barely swallow each and I get sick to my stomach and feel like it's stuck in my throat. Otherwise, I can pretty much eat anything-some foods I can eat more of than others.

I actually prefer to drink shakes and lattes... I only like light easily digestible foods... everything else feels weird hitting my small intestines. I haven't eaten a lot of foods still like sugar or high fats... so I don't know my reaction... and I don't miss them either... I know simple carbs don't sit well, so I avoid them too.

So far everything I've tried has been fine. I've had 3 episodes of "foamies" when I ate too much. Ick. I'm more careful now!!

I learned the hard way from one piece of fried chicken breast at Bob Evans that I absolutely can NOT have anything fried!!!!!! I will not be making that mistake again!!!!

Good luck Lea! For me right now it is any type of "meat"...I just throw it up. I have layed off of meat for a while and am planning on trying to reintroduce it this weekend. Also, some cheddar cheeses don't sit well..I can keep 'em down but I get all gurgly inside and it isn't worth it.

Bread always gets stuck and then returns. Malitol in sugar free things will make me dump.
