Ive recently started water aerobics but have been doing pilates for a while. I like them both. Pilates actually defined my abs, I didnt have a six pack but you could see the vertical lines from the abs. I took holidays off Im trying to get that tone back!!!

I walk walk walk.I also go to the gym for strength training and toning,but I like my walks best of all.

At my gym there is a machine that is for crunches, and there is also a machine that is used to strenghthen your lower abs and back....I use both of these machines! LB

The back pain has gone away since the surgery.. As for the flabby abs.. that and the back is the reason for my diasbility.. so just do some stretching stuff with the bands.

When I was going to curves I did sit ups on the ball and I used the machines to help the arms, plus I used some 5lb weights for the standing in place spot and would lift my arms up over my head and out to my side. Since not being able to go to curves through most of Jan and Feb due to no money I am not doing anything. It really sucks too. Sally

I work on several machines at the gym to strength both my back muscles and my abs. But I find that leg lifts do more for my abs than the crunches! Michele

I am just in fat burning mode right now for the most part. I speed walk for a couple of miles at least three times a week and I do a little weight training (just a little). I may start doing target areas when I'm a little closer to goal.
