Daily Post--2/6/08

I have been having trouble taking all vitamins but today I did it and all my fluids also. Viv

I had to give a presentation for work. I had nothing to wear because I have given all my suits away (they were all way too big). So, I had gone out on my first shopping trip since losing 80 lbs. and bought a suit. It was the best shopping experience I have had in probably 20 years! Anyway, I wore that suit to do the presentation and I actually felt good about how I looked. It's been a long time since I have been able to look in a mirror and feel good about how I looked and I am proud that I finally felt that way in my new (well-fitting) suit. Laurie

I've been out of town, I'm proud to say that I went as a chaperone on a school field trip to Camp, which of course involved alot of walking and hiking. It's something I would not have been able to do before surgery!
