My favorite food pre-op had to have been anything with pasta in it!! I love pasta!!!! And now as a post-op, my favorite food is salad. Why do I think it's changed? Probably because pasta just doesn't settle well with me and it's not worth the pain and suffering I get when I do try to eat it. Salads are very fullfilling for me. I usually will cut up some grilled chicken breast and put that on there. Love it!! Michele

Pre-op, BREAD, hands down. Post-op, CHEESE. I always loved cheese, but carbs were my weakness.

Lobster and Lobster, I love it with butter sauce. I think I could still eat my weight in Lobster if given the chance. LOL I think I may take my kids out for lobster tonight, it sounds so good and I have business across town.

Pre-op I was a fast food junkie. Anything from double cheeseburgers to pizza to footlong subs, sometimes all at one sitting. We used to have major pig-out sessions on movie night or game day. And any home cooked meals were very high carb southern style meals. You know the kind...fried chicken or smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes loaded with butter, beans cooked with bacon, sugar loaded desserts all washed down with sweet tea or soda. Post-op, I haven't had ANY fast food, actually, I haven't eaten out at all. But when I do, I'll just have to do my research first. check out the menu and nutritional info before I go. I had this surgery for a reason, and I refuse to ruin it. Plus, I've had the foamies already, and I never want to experience that again, so if I can prevent it, I will!
