Any type of cardio, given that it is done in proper form and at the right pace. The most important thing about ANY exercise is to KEEP MOVIN'

I think any exercise works but what you need to do is continue to increase the duration/weight/intensity as you get fitter. Otherwise, you reach a fitness plateau (just like in the eating phase of weight loss) and begin to maintain. I still hate abs: crunches, standing abs, pilates, doesn't matter....HATE! HATE! HATE!!!!

High impact cardio....the cross trainer! I lose roughly 300 calories doing 3 miles in 30 minutes. I do this daily!

Walking...just hard to do when it's below zero and dark all the time. But now it's staying lighter a little longer and hopefully will start to warm up some so I can get out and walk...What do I expect from Wisconsin the middle of winter????

Walking outside. I love walking with my husband or even by myself. I just hate the nasty weather. jules
