Gotta admit, I havent been doing much this winter,,but when I do,,walking does it for me! Lose inches and weight better with that than anything. Maybe its an age thing.... Blessings Betsy

I really don't think there is one exercise that is so much better than another as long as you are able to do the exercise and raise your metabolism rate. I have been going to Curves but now I am stronger after losing 75 pounds and feel I can add more to my routine. I may join another exercise club or our local YMCA. But no matter where I go, it will only help if I go. That takes determination and willpower. NO EXCUSES!!! Jolene

I would have to say walking gives me the best weight loss.The gym helps with toning,but walking seems better for the weight. Patti

Not able to do it right now, but swimming seems to help the most with the weight loss. I'd like to get into weights because I need to build up muscle and tone and tighten a few places. Joni

I can't say which is best because all I do is walk. It's working though.

too early to tell for me yet if any one is better than another, but walking and Zumba seem to be helping me alot! Just started playing my kids Dance Dance Revolution on their Xbox 360 and that really gives me a workout! I did it for over an hour Saturday night and I was sore for 3 days! LOL! I just try to mix up my workouts so I don't get bored and I try to make sure that I do exercises throughout the week that work not just my legs and lower body, but upper body as well. Tonight I start line dancing classes...not something I would have done before surgery but I thought it would be a fun way to incorporate exercise into my daily routine one more day a week.
