When I workout, I don't listen to music at all. I think/meditate/daydream/stretch and get intune with the rhythm/motion of my own body. It's very peaceful. Quality time to myself. I have a very eclectic mix that I listen to when driving, at the office, on the computer or hanging at home.

I don't have any specific songs that I listen to. I'm eclectic and listen to a little bit of everything when I'm walking or whatnot. Cheers!

I listen to anything by Queen - love Freddie Mercury and his music makes me take it up a notch!!! For Christmas my hubby bought me one of those little MP3 players that attach to your arm..he loaded all my favorite Queen songs and the 3-mile walk goes by so fast and makes it that much more enjoyable! Good morning one and all, I walk in the mall. I'll tell you this they play really good walking music. I can see where it gets people reved up and in a browsing then buying mood. A lot of oldies but goodies. Carla

I download books from audible.com to my ipod and I "read" a book while I'm walking. I love it! Last night I took a 25 min walk and I listend to "The Historian." It really helps pass the time. Sorry no help with music ideas...but good luck on your 5 mile marathon...what an inspiration you are!!

Congratulations Lea!! You're such an inspiration to everyone!! What is my fave workout songs? I love the 70's and 80's music!! It's upbeat and just keeps me going!!! Maybe because that is my era of music? I don't know, but it works for me!!! Michele

I knew this is going sound crazy but I to listen AC/DC Aero Smith Led Zepplin and a few others tjat have real upbeat music. My love is country western but as someone else said it's hard to find songs that you can get a certian pace going with. Jon P.S. Congrats Lea on your success with the 205 lb loss that is awesome!

Anything fast and upbeat. I like a mix of old 80's songs and some disco songs and then of course the more current music. But pretty much anything that keeps a fast pace beat to it would be good. If the music is too slow then I find I tend to slow down and match my pace to the music. Zumba music is really great!! it's pretty much all fast pace and keeps you moving!
