The only time I have any real issue is when I eat too fast. It makes me feel all icky. As far as I can tell, I tolerate everything just fine. I don't push the limits very much so I don't know really. I have tried a bite or two of hundreds of foods with no issues and I'm not lactose intolerant. It's all good for me.

Peanut butter, bread, crackers and pasta. I try to eat them since my fills have been right on target, and I will PB or Slime every time! That is the down fall about the lapband. I would still do it all over again!!!! Karen

This early out, ALL food is still a bit of trial and error for me. One day I can be completely fine with something, and the next My worst experience so far has been a bite of banana. It was coming out both ways

Well not sure I call myself one of the "lucky" ones, because I sometimes wish that I had more adverse reactions to fats and sugars, but in the 8 months since my surgery I have never thrown up or gotten sick from eating something. I have had that "stuck" feeling maybe 3 times from eating too fast or not chewing well enough. I think it would be a lot easier to stay away from "cheating" if I did have reactions to different things. Sally

I have found that I just have to stay away from pasta. No matter how well I chew it and how slow I eat it, I always end up vomiting. For how much I will miss it, I now know that I just can't handle it. Michele

I know what to eat and what not to eat. So far it has been no problem to just say no. I hope this lasts.

Mac and cheese : I was craving it one day and Mom and dad were out of town so I thought I will make a little and test the waters : not a good thing. Have not craved it since

Once in a while, I'll eat something too high in carbs, then slip into a carb-coma (and need to sleep for a couple of hours).

I find I tolerate most foods. The thing that gets me is eating too quickly, or not chewing enough. I had a bite of a chicken finger tonight, more chicken than finger. It hit me like a rock. When I get dumping syndrome, it is either right away, or an hour after I eat. I've been in a store on more than one occasion and broken into a cold sweat. Yuck!
