I eat a lot of chicken, but if I want to pump up the protein, I eat shrimp or tuna - it seems to have more protein grams. Every meal starts with meat of some sort. I love crunchy peanut butter! It's a good protein snack, and isn't terribly high in carbs.

during the day often a chunk of cheese or a few sticks- a handful of nuts - some natural pb on a spoon....chicken and turkey and beeg and pork- venison- all agree with me...eggs are a staple- just simply two fried in cooking spray - or dolled up with red and green peppers and some onion and cheese... i tend to do better when i have protein of some sort ev two -three hours....

For protein, I eat meat-mostly beef, it sits best. Still, I also eat chicken with some gravy to moisten it and some pork. I also eat a little peanut butter and also Laughing Cow Light Garlic and Herb. Other sources are Special K Protein Plus or Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal.

Good Morning! I must say that protein eating can be trying at times. I do eat cheese often and I like that. Shrimp, tuna, and eggs are good. But even after 9-10 months, I have a hard time eating meat! Deli meat is fine.....chicken is okay most of the time but pork and beef give me a hard time after only 2 bites so I have to eat small amounts and still chew it , chew it, chew it! I prefer soft mushy foods. Sometimes I feel like I wish I could just stop eating all together. It would save my tummy from hurting. But, can't do that! 99% of the time I feel just fine so I am good. Like you Lea, I use the meats and cheese. When I go food shopping I buy 4 to 5 bags of different kinds of cheese. I also have yogurt for my snacks. I use cottage cheese too! I do get bored sometimes with my food choices but since I am losing weigh just fine i can live with it! Being bored with food choices will not kill me OBESITY will! Karen

I have been really enjoying fish. I found a parmesan encrusted tilapia filet (17 grams protein)that I really enjoy and a marinaded salmon that has a whopping 30 grams of protein in it. I also love the Morningstar Prime Grillers veggie burger that has 17 grams of protein and I usually eat a slice of cheese with it (5 grams protein). These really help me get all my protein in for the day.

CHEESE!!!! It comes in many different forms in single servings: string, colby, little round Babybels, Krogers even has an aged white cheddar. You can add cheese to nearly every dish...maybe not Chinese. Ground beef! I can trust this more than any other meat to land in the pouch and not struggle to get out.... What could be better....cheese burger!!!!

I mostly eat red meat like steak or ground beef which really helps me get in my required protein. LB
