To stick with the path we took yesterday, today's question is this: What is the stupidest comment you've received so far? Or, if nothing really stupid comes to mind, how about the worst comment you've received so far? I think the worst comment I've received came from my loving hubby... I hate to admit that! But, I'm sort of anemic and a bit pale lately. Last weekend he told me I looked like death! How is that for the worst! He loves me and worries about me, but he didn't have to put it QUITE that way! The worst comment came from my dad. He told me I looked to skinny. He has only seen photos, because we live so far away. But I am a size 12, and his wife is a size 10, my sisters are sizes 14, 12,12, 9, 6, and 3. I cant believe he would say that. I am now average. I am right in there with my sisters that are in their 20's and have kids. I finally fit in, but I still stand out. It just made me sad that he can only see me as the fat daughter.

So far I haven't recieved any bad comments from anyone. Lets keep our fingers crossed that I dont. I'm sure I will though. It more than likely will be out of the mouth of my husband in June if i Do though. Krissy AKA Navywife25

The worst was when I was sick and learned I had a stricture. My dad was not supportive of the surgery to start with so of course his response was "I told you so!" Other then that, I don't really remember any bad comments!

I have been very fortunate, in that everyone just asks if I'm feeling O.K. and that I look good. My sister-in-law has made a few comments like "Skinny Minny", but I've decided in my mind that she is just teasing and is not being mean spirited in any way. If she is, I'm not playing.

The worst comment probably came before my surgery when I was on my pre-op diet and losing weight...I was constantly asked why I dont just keep doing what Im doing and not have surgery..... I hated that LB

I've not received any negative comments to date. However, the one that bugged me the most came from my surgeon. At my one month checkup, after seeing my 38 lb loss since surgery, he told me "You are doing okay". What did he expect? That comment was a little discouraging, since I was following his guidelines to a T.

I have not heard any as of yet. But I can be pretty dense some times. So if there has been some I haven't figured it out. I am just so pleased with myself... that it really wouldn't matter anyway. Alice
