Mix 1/2 cup cottage cheese with one serving of sugar free chocolate pudding. You can throw in a scoop of chocolate protein powder if desired. This looks gross, but tastes really good. I don't know what to call it, but I originally got it from a Body for Life cook book. Denise

I don't co a whole lot different than before since I have always been dieting! But I also make some great beef jerky. I buy a marinade at the store and follow those directions. I sure found out that it was spicy, though, so I am cutting back on the amount this time and also found that you can't dehydrate 24 hours!!! 12 should be fine. Hahahaha Jolene

I seem to say this a lot, but I'm no cook!! One thing I love and eat quite often now is my own concoction of spinach... Melt about 1/2 tsp of butter in a saucepan. Add about 1/2 tsp of minced garlic, add about 1 tsp of real bacon bits. Let these simmer for awhile, then add a can of drained, chopped spinach, stir, and let simmer until most of the liquid is gone. Throw in about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese (I use the cheddar mix) and stir it up until the cheese is melted. I have no idea what the calorie or nutritional counts are, but I'm sure it's high in iron, and because of the bacon and cheese, there's some protein in there too! And it is YUMMY!

Problem is, I dont use recipes! Everything I make, I just throw together really, no measuring, just eyeballing and I'm sure every time it turns out completely different... but thats the fun of it. So I really have nothing to offer other than putting random things together and hoping something comes out of it!!! Krissy AKA NavyWife25

Pot Roast cookes in the slow cooker. It is easy on the tummy. You pick the ingredients - I go traditional.

I don't have any real recipes that I can think of. I just pull them off the web whenever something sounds good. tonight I made a pot roast in the crockpot. One roast, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and one bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce. I shredded it for my husband and girls to eat on sandwich rolls. I just ate the meat. It was gooooood!

Okay like I have said before I don't cook, but I do have a fave that I throw together for dinner. Taco Salad Shredded Lettuce (or whatever you prefer) Kraft 2% Mexican Cheese Baked chicken breast (bake beforehand) Light tortilla chips Salsa Fat Free sour cream Taco Seasoning Take the chicken out of the fridge, cut up into SMALL pieces, sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken and place in microwave for 45-60 seconds. Mix together all ingredients above while chicken is cooking except chips and sour cream. Mix chicken into salad mixture and then dallop sour cream and sprinkle tortilla chips over sour cream. Mix and eat.

I'm not very creative when it comes to cooking but I do use alot of recipes that I find on OH. I have taken Eggface's Baked Ricotta and added ground beef or meatballs to it. It is so yummy! Thanks for all the new suggestions! Rhonda
