Daily Post--1/15/08
I've not been exercising like I should but I did just join a Zumba class that's once a week (definitely cardio!) and I'm joining a line dancing class that will meet once a week and then I'm going to start doing treadmill at least 1-2 times a week and doing my Richard Simmons Disco Sweat once a week. My ultimate goal is to be doing some type of exercise 5-6 times per week! I figure a mix of different things will keep me from getting bored and keep it fun.
Well, when i'm in class is completely different than when i'm on break. When i'm on break the rec center is closed so i get lazy (shame on me).
So We'll go with what i do when class is in session... I walk across campus (huge campus) about 7-8 times a day and up and down about 5 flights of stairs so I get some that way. Than after classes I go over to the rec center and do cardio for about 30 mins and than after that I do weight training. Usually on Mon, Wed, Fri I will do my arms, bicep, tricep, pecs, delts, etc. and do a little on my stomache. Than Tues and Thurs I do my legs. That way alternating them i give one time to rest while i work on the other.
But the good news is I just bought an ellyptical machine so I will be doing that too, prob 7 days a week since its there! Yay.
And when i'm sick like the past two days... NO WAY am i exercising.
