This was an excellent post idea! My exercise physiologist suggested purchasing a stability ball and using it as a chair during a tv show and during the commercials do crunches. I have to say I did it pre-op and it KILLED my abs and thighs. I do it now 3-4 times a week along with going to the gym daily and pilates and I think it is an excellent add on!

I am lazy!!!! I admit it.. but for right now I have an excuse, post op day 5 so no exercise for me, but I do like to walk around the store, so maybe when I feel up to it... Viv

I do several already listed. Park away from the building and walk. Take the stairs whenever possible instead of the elevator. Walk the halls several times a day. Do butt *****hes in my desk chair. Legs lifts in my chair. I shop alot (does that count?) - LOL I use much my energry in my everyday life the I used to.

If I have extra time throughout the day I will do jumping jacks or chair squats. Sometimes I will do wall pushups or other arm exercises. If I can get away from my desk sometimes I will take a few laps around the office.

Squats while I'm standing still, or take 5 flights of stairs instead of the elevator

Yikes!! I don't do nothing, I'm going to try hard this week to dance with my daycare kids or run up and down the steps more......... Exercise is one of my biggest downfalls. Ada

If I have to stand in front of the copy machine I do leg lifts, knee lifts or stand on my tippy toes up and down. If I have a few minutes at work I do the stairs but not a whole lot lately- I have a lazy bone......

I try to park a little further out so that I have to walk further to get to my destination. If I am not in a big hurry it isn't a problem. When sitting at work for long periods of time I try to get up and walk around, down the hall, outside for 5 min if the weather is good. Whatever I can get in. Sally
