Daily Post--1/12/08
This was an excellent post idea! My exercise physiologist suggested purchasing a stability ball and using it as a chair during a tv show and during the commercials do crunches. I have to say I did it pre-op and it KILLED my abs and thighs. I do it now 3-4 times a week along with going to the gym daily and pilates and I think it is an excellent add on!
I do several already listed.
Park away from the building and walk.
Take the stairs whenever possible instead of the elevator.
Walk the halls several times a day.
Do butt *****hes in my desk chair.
Legs lifts in my chair.
I shop alot (does that count?) - LOL
I use much my energry in my everyday life the I used to.
I try to park a little further out so that I have to walk further to get to my destination. If I am not in a big hurry it isn't a problem. When sitting at work for long periods of time I try to get up and walk around, down the hall, outside for 5 min if the weather is good. Whatever I can get in.
