Hi Lea, Leg lifts while watching TV, I just got a small trampoline for the living room while watching tv ~ as you can see I like watching TV! I drive a bus so I can't really exercise in the bus!!! Doris

I do whatever errand I have at the stores, then walk the peremiter of the store once or twice. Not a lot, but something! Leslie

When I'm at work and feel the need to move a bit, I get up and walk around for a few minutes. Some times I'll go up and down the stairs a couple of times before heading back to my desk.

I do that too Kim. I park in the spots far out so that I can walk a bit. Something else that I do is stand up more. Even if there is a chair available I will stand up instead. Standing burns more calories than sitting. I learned that from Nutrisystem years and years ago.

I park as far away as possible from the store when I have to go shopping. Every step counts!

When I read the question, I thought, "Oh no, I don't do anything!" However, after reading the answers, I realize that I do a couple things that everyone keeps mentioning like parking farther out & using stairs. But as far as really taking advantage of those little bits of time at home or waiting in lines at the store or waiting for a train to pass, etc., I have to admit that although I've read about different things (like doing isometric exercises--like butt tightening, for ex.), I'm guilty of NOT doing anything. This question was really good--I think I will be more aware--and will try to implement a couple of the ideas. For one thing, while sitting at the computer, it's so easy to just raise & lower my legs (push them straight out from the knee and/or sit in normal position and just raise & lower my legs by rocking up on my toes). I don't even get a lunch break at work most days. I think I'll try to incorporate some of these suggestions into my day!

lol, they laugh at me at work. I'll lay in the floor of the cash office and do leg lifts, pelvic tilts, yoga stances. lunges, whatever I can think of while I'm waiting on them to finish counting my stuff. Sometimes, others cashing out will join in. Denise
