Another day down already!! We're shifting gears away from the food and liquid intake for today... For today's topic, let's talk about goals! Tell us one of your goals for the future that you hope to be able to do now with your lighter, healthier body?? I will be walking a leg of a marathon relay in Feb. This is something I NEVER would have even considered (exercising in public, YEAH RIGHT!) as a preop! Beyond that, I am working towards getting back into the classroom (teaching!) for the next school year. Lea

My goal is to be comfortable in my own skin. I still feel like the fat chick.

Goal #1: drink my water, get in my protein and get used to working with my new tool. Goal #2: spending more time with my hubby & kiddies outdoors (camping & hiking) - together as a family...before I stayed home and hubby took them...no MORE! Goal #3: stay faithful to my excersize regime and increase duration or difficulty when appropriate. Goal #4: be good to myself...make me as important as everyone else in my life that I have been putting b4 me in the past.

I am training for a 5K in March. I recently started running on the treadmill. I plan on continuing that and start running outside. I have spoke to runners that say treadmill running is a lot different than road running. I also would still like to lose another 20#. I know it is possible and that it will take time, but I will continue to exercise and eat correctly until I get there. Kelly

Well my newyears resolution was to not be alone next new years, lol! I seem to have made excellent progress in this department. Other goals: running a 5k, going to go rafting this summer, going to wear a formal dress this summer and look GOOD damn it!, want to go skiing, want to go horse back riding. I want to go hiking/camping. I want to be sexy and have my man look at me and WANT me.

Great topic. I'd like to go for a real hike, in the woods. I'll start on a trail, but I would really like to get serious about "getting back to nature" and doing a bunch of hiking next summer. I'm hoping to be ready by the time the weather warms up.

Well let's see. My most immediate goals right now is being able to eat food and keep it down and finding a protein shake that I like and can tolerate. Future goals are: 1. Becoming a living, breathing part of life again instead of sitting on the sidelines either hiding or unable to do anything. This includes being able to do what God put me on this earth to do instead of being a Christian who just really sucks. 2. Being able to enjoy fun times with my family doing things I never could do before and participating in their life events because I am no longer sick. 3. This is a sick one but hey ya'll know what I mean: If I am out in public and have to go to the bathroom, being able to go in a regular stall and poop and be able to wipe...lol Sorry but it's true. Have you ever been out in public and you really have to go and you just barely make it to find out someone is in the big stall and you have no choice but to go in the regular one? I swear the fear I have felt at being stuck there because I couldn't wipe! this is the most horribly helpless feeling I think a big person can have! Have an awesome day! Kellie

I have a few also, and this is the first time in so long that I feel up to giving myself permission to being sucessful without the emiotional pain of the fat girl could fail. 1. Go for the good job I really want. 2. Not be so hard on me, and keep my expectations of others out of my day. 3. Go for the nice cute guy that I really do like. 4. And the one that I really would like to be number 2 is, get rid of the wrinkles and loose skin........lol
