Daily Post--1/8/08
I have a 20 oz water bottle and I fill it twice a day, so that gets me to 40 oz. Then I usually have an 8 oz glass of 1% milk, a 16 oz glass of decaf tea (with benefiber in it), and I'll often have a glass of light juice or crystal lite in the evening. It was hard in the beginning, but becoming a habit now. I know if I don't drink enough water I can feel it!
Lea;
I love water, always have so it hasn't been a big issue with me. I drink black coffee and herbal tea with nothing added so that also helps get in my fluids. I also like the crystal light teas. There are days when I get busy and forget to drink for an hour or two but then I get busy and start getting in my fluids. I stay away from pop and carbonation completely. That is one evil I promise I will not start again. I also stay away from alcohol completely. So I would have to say that yea I get in my 64 oz. daily.
Sally
I start the day with a 12 oz glass of milk and 5 oz of water. I carry a water bottle with me everywhere I go. I usually put the crystal light travel packs in the water. My first week after surgery I was drinking over 90 oz of fluids a day. (milk, water, crystal light)
I think this may be because I was always thirsty before surgery. (I was diabetic.)
Like the other post says if I am not eating my 3-3 oz meals I am drinking something.
