Daily Post--1/7/08
My problem is that I dont really do snacks. Theres nothing really that I like to eat so In order for me to eat, its gotta be when other people eat otherwise i kind of forget to eat since I'm not hungry. I know thats not good but I try and work around it. If i ever do eat snacks its things like jerky or cheese, etc.

I guess I am not as creative as some when it comes to healthy snacks. I do pretty basic stuff like fresh fruit, carrot sticks, whole almonds, a protein shake, an oz of hot pepper jack cheese or if I am being really lazy and not very complient I do popcorn with sprinkled parmesean cheese or multi grain gold fish or regular pretzels.
Unfortuntelly this surgery doesn't automatically make us compliant and to choose the right food all the time. I believe it does help, but the temptations and addictions are still there and don't just vanish.

Some of my snacks include sf jello w or w/o ff whip cream, string cheese, sf/ff pudding, if craving carbs pretzels or air popped pop corn, carrot sticks or diet hot chocolate.
I liked the idea of the cheese drops on a cookie sheet. Definitely going to try that one!
Oh and I make a southwest dip for the light tortilla chips all you need for the dip is ff sour cream and the southwest seasoning from Pampered Chef. This is what I brought to EVERY holiday get together for me, and for everyone else. No one knew it was ff, and no one cared!
