I love those EAS AdvantEDGE drinks! They're 17 grams of protein in 1, only 4 carbs and NO sugars! They come in French Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Cafe Caramel (the CC are hard to find though). I usually have at least 1 per day to supplement my protein needs.

Hi, I know I should be getting in more protein so I am going to try. I really like the Isopure. I don't have to mix it. I just drink it right from the bottle. Claudia

There is only one protein drink that I found that I could stomach early out and it has become the only thing I drink for protein. It is Worldwide Profect Protein - Frosty Chocolate. It comes in a ready to drink can and has 35 grams of protein in each can. It has 170 calories and only 4 grams of carbs. For protein bars I have found the only ones I like are the Oh Yeah! wafer style protein bars. There are two sticks to a pack and the pack has 210 calories and 14 grams of protein. I keep these in the freeze an they are a real treat. Nanci

My Dr wants supplements for the first few months. I have the Nectar Fuzy Navel in the morning. The citrus flavor reminds me of oj and sits best at that time of day. I am supposed to have another for a snack but I double scoop into 10oz of water so that is 46g. of protein. I think it's enough. I meet w/my Nut. on Tues. We'll see what he has to say. I'd love to find a vanilla I can tolerate so I can blend it up w/banana or strawberries but haven't found one yet!

My doc allows supplements but most everything is yucky. I will grab a muscle milk light in the choc mint flavor if I need the protein. It's only 8 ounces and if it's really cold I can get it down ok. Most of my protein comes from food now. And thank goodness. Alice

As for me, I would rather get my calories from food, so i just eat and try to make it high protein.

Pre-surgery, there was a powder that I bought at Costco that I liked... but post-surgery, it made me nauseous. The only protein drink I can stand now is SlimFast Lo-Carb Chocolate. I've tried the AdvantEdge strawberry, and it's not too bad, but if I'm going to do it, I prefer the SlimFast. I only drink the supplement shake when I know that I am going to skip a meal - maybe two or three times a week. I work full time, and do Partylite shows at night, so sometimes, it's just not feasible to sit down to dinner - and fast food on the way is not so easy any more!

Hi, I seem to get dizzy and bit of a queasy tummy lately when I use the suppelments. I was using Body Fortress. and a few samples (like 30) that I brought from Vitalady.c Right now I use 1 NEW Whey liquid 42 a day, its not bad and I freeze it and eat it like ice cream, or pour over ice chips like a snow cone. Its a bit more expensive but i can get 42 g of protein down in 3 oz vs, 16 oz.. Plus i get the tubes for crafts, My b/f get to use them for nuts and screws. Plus i just thought of using the tubes for my lunchs... I also eat Chopped liver, Steak, chicken, cubed in chunks left in refg. I also buy Beef Jerky, and that too is cut up into small snack size bags, so when I need something to eat I can grab one of those.. If I do make a shake I use Soy Milk, DHEA Vanilla. I was told to take my protein within 30 minutes of waking up, So I have a mini refg next to my bed, that I keep the protein in so when I wake up, its there while I watch the news before I get ready for Work.. Seems to be working so far.

I generally don't use any protein supplements but when I used to I would either mix some chocolate protein powder into sf instant chocolate pudding or I would make a chocolate shake in the blender w/ff milk and put a teaspoon of decaf instant coffee in it to make a mocha shake.
