hi lea and challengers! i'd like to join for v day-
my surgery was 3/26/04-- highest weight was 233
(due to "cir****tances" i regained 30 of 83 pounds by 4/22/05 lost-ouch!) so--
am currently at 164
( i have managed to restart loss and lost 16 # since april this year!!! so the tool still works !)
would like to set my vday goal at 155
oh-i would love a buddy-someone who can im on yahoo? and pm here cuz i, too, am hard to reach by phone....
i have bookmarked this site tho i "hang" on the over fifty forum...cuz i am OLD!!!!

LEA - Thanks for a wonderful first challenge. I think these things could get addictive! Can't wait to see how I do on the next one and if I can keep my exercise resolution. I might miss the first couple of posts but I'll get back to you as soon as I get into Indiana. I'm going to Ohio too but Cleveland instead of Columbus. I get to visit family and go for my first big check-up. I haven't seen my bariatric doctor since three weeks post-op. He probably won't reconize me!
HI, I made my goal, I suppose, LOL. I just said under 200 lbs. I am still at 195 lbs but I am waiting on the holiday weight to hit me. I want to be at 180 lbs by the end of the Valentine's Day Challenge. Yes, I would like a buddy also. I need so much help it isn't even funny, LOL. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year's and be safe. Good Morning--
My final weight is 194. I had a goal to stay pretty steady, and increase my exercise, and I've really succeeded. I just signed up for my first offficial sprint triathlon, and the training is leaving me in pain, but I keep moving forward.... increasing my protein for muscle repair/build. I've been really solid with regular exercise/training ever since just after Thanksgiving. I also got a new road bike for Christmas!
I don't have a weight goal for the next challenge, but would like to participate still. I'd like to pass on the buddy option because I have Soooo much planned I won't be able to give the buddy the attention they deserve. I'll be finishing up my MBA, and preparing/taking the CPA exams in 2008, which will make for a challenging year. (especially with my first triath. scheduled for end of MAY).

Ok, here goes, i'm going for it this time: new goal 150 pounds by valentines day, my current weight is 162, i've gained some during moms death etc, so..... I've promised myself that i will work out more and will eat better contributing to posts daily, weekly... I absoluteley want a buddy.... I need a buddy please ...... someone to kick my butt when i skip my workouts etc.. I'm going to train for a 1/2 marathon in october withmy sister n law who is a runner... i'm doing it for me, but also for st judes.... i'll be walking it not running it...
