Mom passed away

My mother passed away after a year long battle of fighting negligence of nursing homes and stupid people, along with copd and MRSA infection. She died thursday night , the night before my birthday. My brothers came in to town and acted like after 14 months of my fighting for her life i was invisible, but none the less she is gone and it sucks.... Please pray for me, I am glad her suffering is over, however I miss her terribly....

I am so sorry for your loss, especially during the holidays. Not that anytime is good to lose a parent. Why is it that there is always only one sibling who seems to take care of the ailing parent? Then everyone comes and has the nerve to question your judgement. Where were they when you needed help. They are probably just feeling guilty. Know in your heart and mind that you did everything possible to make your mother as comfortable as she could be. I thank God I am an only child. God bless you and give you comfort. Remember your rewards in heaven will outweigh those here on earth.

So sorry to hear of your loss of your mom. I still miss mine. I know what you mean about the other siblings coming in........mine did the same thing after me taking care of mom for months without even a visit or a penny from the others. Then, after mom got down terminal, I became the black sheep. But, I figure that God knows that I tried to care for her as well as I could and that they didn't. They tried to come in and be hero's at the end.......... So, know that you are not alone and that God will know that you were the sincerest when the time comes!
