11/16 FRI What did you eat today?

The weekend is here again. Next week is the holiday week and, around here at least, hunting season begins. This little town I live in will be hopping with all sorts of out of town folks who come here to WV for the deer hunting and bear hunting... Crazy! So, what are you eating today? Did you get your vitamins and fluids in??? Lea

breakfast--protein cocoa (38 protein) snack--chocolate Chex mix (1 protein) lunch--sirloin steak (36 protein) snack--Walmart spicy cajun trail mix (5 protein) snack--chedddar cheese and turkey pepperoni crisps (20 protein) dinner--boneless pork chop (22 protein) snack--white choc peanut butter (6 protein) and, bad me, doritos at the 4H officer's training tonight... (2 protein) Totals for the day are 1390 calories, 67 net carbs and 129 protein. I also will have a total of about 100 ozs of clear liquids. TOO many carby things today! Can you tell I had the munchies?? Lea

I did not get all my protein in today.. was a very busy ship night at work and missed my meals.. So... all I got in was 250 calories and 14 protein.. I have to make it up saturday...

I am still not getting in all my protein or my liquids since WLS last month. However, all my vitamins are in! Breakfast: soft boiled egg Lunch: 1/4 chicken breast Dinner: 1/4 chicken breast and 1/2 oz whole wheat vermicelli pasta Snack: Sugar free pudding I am waiting on my protein drinks to arrive in the mail. I don't absorb the protein powder drinks well enough, most of the protein was passing right on through in my urine. We still don't know why, just that I don't absorb the powders for some reason. I have since started a smoothie type drink, but I can't find it anywhere local, I have to order it off the net. I ordered it two weeks ago and that company never told me it was backordered. I canceled that and went somewhere else that has it in stock and it should be here Monday sometime. As for liquids, I am nowhere near my 64oz goal that my NUT set for me. I am lucky to get half that everyday. I am sipping as often as I can, but my work schedule along with the type of work that I do does not make it very easy to constantly be drinking something. But I am working something out with my supervisor to make it easier for me.

Breakfast Protein shake (20 grams) Lunch Protein shake (20 grams) Dinner 3 Scallops, 1/2 of a rock lobster tail (guessing 25 grams) Snack 1.5 cups of calorie countdown (11 grams) 64 oz water, 76 G. protein, 500 calories Vitamins done two of three doses of calcuim in.
