11/14 WEDS What did you eat today?
Hump day again... I'm going today for a dexascan to complete my current labwork. Should be interesting. I've never had one before! Then, my daughter and I are doing a fitness assessment at my surgeon's gym as part of getting ready to walk in the marathon in Feb 08.
SO, what are you eating today?? Did you get your vitamins in? What about your liquids??

For breakfast, I had some chunks of beef jerky. Breakfast of champions, huh? I drank a protein drink, and lunch is some fajita chicken, grilled onions, grated cheddar, a little sour cream and some salsa. I think supper is going to be some soup, unless someone at work wants to split a meal out with me.
I need to remember my vitamins, they've been forgotten here lately, and that's not good.
This is how my day's been so far:
B: protein shake w carb countdown
L: 2/3 sandwich made with turkey breast and pepperjack cheese, apple
S: light and fit yogurt
D: 2 oz homemade turkey meatballs in lemon, 3 pcs of butternut squash chunks
We have a guest from Turkey and he brought along with him some of the savory "cookies" I love and miss. I do plan on indulging tonight, but that will be it for me!
I'm getting better with my fluids, but it's not automatic yet. I've gotten in all of my vites!
Two more days until the weekend!

Well, with being on the go again today, I am behind on my eating again... I did start out okay, but missed lunch and ended up in the whole for the day. I have made up my liquids but just didn't feel like eating, so ended up the day behind on protein. I did get my dexascan done and did a fitness assessment too. SO, long day!
breakfast--protein cocoa (38 protein)
lunch--none
dinner--chicken breast, cheddar cheese and some lettuce/tomato/dressing (about 30 protein)
Total for the day of about 68 protein (long way from 100!) and 100+ ozs of clear liquids...

Breakfast: Chopped liver 174 calories 27 grams of Protein,
Vites, Boiled chicken 90 calories 4 grams of Protein
Soy protien Milk 40 calories and 3 grams of Protein
Lunch: Wendys Chili 150 calories 13 grams of protein, only ate 6 oz
Rasberry blue Whey 50 calories and 13 grams of Protein
Dinner: Rice 1./4 cup 68 calories 1 gram of protein
Chicken teriyaki 1/4 cup 110 caloires 7 grams of protein
Salad 1/4 cup 8 calories 1 gram of protein
I ate this in 2 sittings...
Vites, water,
My snack will be popcorn or jello or yougurt.. depends on how much I want to eat... I need more protein today!!
