Wow, the weekend is almost here again! Anyone got plans?? I've got a support group meeting Friday evening that I've been missing for the last several months (the support group at my surgeon's office) while I've been attempting to start a group here closer to home. It is about changing/modifying behavior to get back on track. That should be interesting!! My daughter, who needs to lose no less than 50 pounds, is going with me. I hope that it encourages her to get going on her own situation... SO, what have you eaten today??? Lea

early--vitamins and fiber pills breakfast--1/2 of a SBD chocolate peanut butter protein bar (9.5 grams protein) snack--2 slices ham, 1 string cheese (19 protein), calcium and fish oil lunch--taco meat sauce with shredded cheese melted over it (23 protein) and second dose fiber pills snack--1/3 cup cucumber slices, 1/2 apple, calcium and fish oil dinner--turkey cutlet with parmesan coating, peas/corn and a few bites parmesan rice mix (almost 36 proteins) snack--probably just my vitamins and final dose of fiber... Maybe a smidge of peanut butter! Without the peanut butter (which I don't think I'll eat), I am at 130 calories, 75 carbs, and about 88 proteins. Lea

B: 1/2 scrambled egg with 5/8 oz cheddar = 8 protein L: 1/3 cup ff refried beans w/ a bit of sourcream and salsa = 6 protein S: 1 oz mixed nuts, lightly salted = 5 protein S: 8oz milk = 8 protein D: 1/2 bowl of Red Lobster Shrimp Gumbo (nasty stuff) = dunno I'm almost certain dinner did not have 33 grams of protein in it. I really need to work on that. As far as my plans for the weekend, we're going to the State Fair on Saturday. I'm a bit concerned about what I'll eat there. I mean really, they fry oreos and twinkies! Sunday is church and my son's birthday party. It will be a busy weekend, but a fun one. denise
