So I had a great day! Had a mini goal of being in the 220's by my birthday. 229.6! I made it B-1/2 thai chicken wrap s-2 pototaoe wedges L-1/2 thai chicken wrap D-Detour Protein Bar S-Choc. Protein Shake S-Choc Protein Shake S-IDS Vanilla Cinn Shake CAL 1284/Protein 122/FAT 33.8/Carbs 96.3/Fiber 14.8/ Sodium 1462 Ran 1.5 Miled on treadmill/walked 1 mile, and then went for 2 Mile walk with my mom So 4.5 miles altogether

Well, that was a LONG day! I ate a serving (1 oz) of protein cereal from Kay's Naturals as I was leaving the house. That was actually 8 grams of protein. About 2 hours later, as I was almost to the training location, I stopped at a Hardee's and got one of those "low carb bowls" and ate half of that. That was 18 grams of protein, but also a whopping (ouch) 300 calories! Of course you don't find that out till you've already paid for the thing and are on the way out the door! On the way home from the training, I hit the grocery store and actually ate 2 slices of ham and a string cheese while driving home. It was a better choice than fast food after the way my day started! That was another 19 grams of protein but only 160 calories that time! Dinner was a taco salad with beef meat sauce, refried beans, and cheese plus the assorted veggies and just 5 or 6 nacho chips crumbled in it. While grocery shopping (at Wally World), I also picked up a jar of that white chocolate peanut butter that Sarah's been talking about and had a teaspoon (JUST a teaspoon--at just shy of $4 a jar, you gotta make it last!) as a snack this evening. Totals for the day were 1148 calories, 53 carbs, and 80 protein. I'm envious of you folks who can stand shakes and consistently do 100+ grams of protein per day while staying in the 1000 calorie range... I have no trouble with liquids for the day (96+ ozs most days), but I struggle with protein EVERY day! Lea
