9/25 TUES What did you eat today?
I am getting ready to go to work and so far today I have ate the following:
coffee
4 corn bread crackers
1 oz almonds (6g protein)
roast beef w/ potatoes and carrots (very small bowl aprox 10g protein)
2 SF popsicles

What I plan on taking to work to eat during the night shift:
coffee (lots and lots)
1 protein bar (20g protein)
fage yogurt w/blueberries (13g protein)
2 oz cheddar cheese (14g protein)
6 peanut butter crackers (6g protein)
plan on getting water and vitamins in through out the night...

OMG, YES to your question. I now take my iron just like you do Lea. At night before bed. What a great idea. I was struggling trying to get all of my calcium and iron in. I take 1600 mg of calcium and 200 mg of iron. Quite a dilema, but not any more.
breakfast: 1/2 new whey protein shot, and light and fit yogurt
lunch: 1 1/2 cups homemade chicken soup with a slice of american cheese
snack: 1/2 serving Matrix Cookies and Cream in 4 oz of decaf ice coffee. YUMMY
supper: roasted chicken, mashed cauliflower, winter squash and cheese casserole
snack: 1/2 serving Matrix Cookies and Cream in 4 oz decaf ice coffee. YUMMY
Actually, the question this week did make a change for me. I didn't know that you weren't supposed to take calcium and iron at the same time. So now I take it differently. Informative and Educational! Thanks!
B'fast: Cappucino Protein shake with skim milk
Lunch: carb master yogurt, ham & onion & pepper frittata w/ salsa and cheese
Supper: frittata w/ salsa and cheese
Snack: Protein shake
I spend 3 hours in the dentist chair this morning! ugh! A filling and a crown.

D; 2 Tbls. Peanut Butter and 2 whole wheat crackers
(not a great choice)

Total for the day Cal. 988, Fat 58 , Carbs 60, Protein 70
I walked 1 1/2 miles and drank most of my water and vitamins.

Still sick, but making myself eat. With my recent hair loss, I don't need my protein dropping!
early--vitamins and iced tea
breakfast--SlimFast low carb diet Ready-to-drink Vanilla (20 grams protein) with my fiber pills
snack--calcium, fish oil, and 32 ozs iced tea
lunch--center cut boneless pork chop and brown beans (leftovers from dinner last night--about 30 grams protein)
snack--5 peanut butter filled pretzels (2.5 grams protein), calcium, fish oil, and 32 ozs iced tea
dinner--piece of flounder, mini-cob of corn and a hush puppy (about 18 grams protein)
snack--homemade granola bar (the last one! 7 grams protein)
Today's totals were not so good when I added them up--1290 calories, 100 grams carbs, and 77.5 protein... I'm going to start counting calories/carbs/protein again for a while and see where I'm landing on the average...
