9/20 THURS What did you eat today?
Today's been another funky day for me, but I think I did okay nutritionally...
breakfast--vitamins, fiber pills and 5 slices thick sliced bacon (15 grams protein)
snack--calcium, fish oil and 32 ozs iced tea with lemon/splenda
lunch--small Wendy's chili and 4 saltines (17 grams protein)
snack--piece of leftover cubed steak from last night's dinner (about 20 grams protein), calcium, fish oil and 32 ozs iced tea with lemon/splenda
snack--medium apple (more fiber!)
dinner--fiber pills, grilled some steak (my favorite meal--both pre and post op!) and actually ate some baked tater too--just margarine, no sour cream. (about 25 grams protein)
snack--I will either have a small green salad with grape tomatoes OR another apple. I'm all about the fiber right now. Doc wants me off the stool softeners as he says that long term they are addictive and he does not want his patients taking them.
Total protein for the day was VERY close to 80 grams! I drank about 96 ozs.

Where are my fruits and Veggies, need to grocery shop tomorrow!

30 minute walk with the dog!

Maybe I will try some broccoli when I get home...need a few more calories and more fiber

Anyway, I work 12 hours so during the days that I work, so I eat many mini meals (snacks) during the course of 12 hours.
B- coffee
S#1- 2 oz almonds
S#2- coffee & 3 peanut butter nabs
L- protein bar
S#3- 3 peanut butter nabs
S#4- 1/2 protein bar
D- 3 oz almonds
S#5- a hand full of pretzels
I also drank about 40 oz of water.

anywho, yesterday i just ate some crap mostly. wasn't feeling too good so i pretty much avoided foods. i DID have half of a thing from pretzelmaker. idk what it's called but it's ham, swiss cheese and honey mustard inside of a pretzel thingie. YUMMY!!!
and then later in the evening i had about 1/3 of a regular soft pretzel. idk what the deal was with carbs yesterday but turns out, i lost two of the four pounds i've gained! weird...
