9/10/07 MONDAY What did you eat today?
ok so i've been really bad and haven't posted anything that i've been eating even though i said i would. i guess i'll start now. better late than never, right?
breakfast: ham/turkey/cheese roll ups (13 grams of protein, 110 calories)
snack: tea flavored protein water (5 grams of protein, 30 calories)
lunch: chefs salad ~ about a 1/4 cup and half of a boiled egg (idk the calories or protein but i don't usually count this towards my daily totals anyway since i'm usually hitting my protein and way low on calories and everything else)
snack: 1 "chocolate flavored protein pudding pop" that i made myself (13 grams of protein, 75 calories)
supper: 2 oz tuna with 1 tbsp fat free mayo (18 grams of protein, 90 calories)
snack: 1 "chocolate flavored protein pudding pop" (13 grams of protein, 75 calories)
so that puts me at 62 grams of protein for the day and 380 calories plus whatever the chef's salad ends up being. hopefully since i've written it down i'll be able to stick to just this and maybe one more tea flavored protein water or something. oh yeah, i also had 20 ounces of milo's splenda tea earlier today so if i DO add another of the protein water thingies then that puts me at 60+ ounces of fluids for the day, 410 calories and 67 grams of protein.
ya, imma idiot!! i just read a thread on the main board about trail mix and it made me want some nuts so i reached into my drawer at work and i had 14 almonds left in this little can and ate them. just thought i'd come back and confess my sin, lols!!
so that makes my daily totals 490 calories and 70 grams of protein.

After discussing my hair loss of the last 4 months with my nut and surgeon, it was suggested that I increase my protein... It was also suggested that my current multivitamin wasn't cutting it for me. SO, I am going to start taking 3 of the multis a day instead of the 2 I've been on and I'm going to make a concerted effort to increase my protein to the 80 to 100 grams per day level. My norm for over six months has been 65 to 80 grams per day as recommended by my nut... We'll see if these changes make any difference for me over the next month or so.
