Hey Lea,
My starting weight was 260, surgery was on July 31 2007 and I think when you first posted the Halloween challenge I was at like 225? Anyway I am hoping to be down to 199 by Halloween and already I am down to 214 and dropping fairly fast so I think I am going to make it as my challenge is I get a one year free membership to the gym and I am going to make sure that I get there at least 2-3 times until Halloween so that is my non weight challenge.

Well here I am at 229.5...down only 1/2 pound from last week. At that rate I will never reach my Halloween ghoul...lol..goal. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I would like to try to add bike riding to our schedule...say maybe twice a week. Also we joined a bowling league. We will be bowling every other Saturday with the league. Should be fun. The more I lose the closer I get to my old (younger and smaller) self. It's such a nice feeling to just think "move" and my body does it. lol

I haven't really done much with the mini-challenges, but I have a few more pounds to get off (and keep off) so here's my goals.
I started at 398, am down to 165, so would like to lose 7 pounds by Halloween.
My other goals will be to go four out of seven days without snacking and to exercise at least 30 minutes every other day.

Hi Lea,
This morning I weighed at 300.8. So close to twoterville I can almost taste it. I really want to be out of these 300s but the last month the weight loss has been brutally slow.
For this challenge I really need to up my exercise, and also to work on getting all of my vitamins and water in each day. Basically I need to work on building the habits that will keep me successful throughout this journey and beyond.

I am on week three of getting back on track. On track means:
3 protein shakes a day
3 meals a day
4 times a week at the gym
128oz. + of water a day
Getting to bed by 10 p.m.
I haven't been able to get to bed on time yet. That is my primary goal this week.
Hi Lea & gang;
I am getting way so discoraged, and frustrated! I have been going back and forth between 194-196, today 196. I know it is my own fault!
I know I need to get back to the exercise, getting in more protein, and water.. I am also looking into correcting my problems of snacking; eating only what I need and not just what I want! Please say a prayer for me all?! Just need some serious encouragement!
My weight this a.m. was 196, Halloween goal is 185.. Seriously need to make my Halloween challenge to break this very funk I am in. Best wishes & luck to all.. Hugs, Judy R
