ROLL CALL!! Sept 10th, 2007
I haven't been feeling well this past two weeks and my weight stayed the same. 292. I haven't felt much like eating and I haven't exercised. Doctors are still trying to figure out what is going on. Things being thrown around range from stroke to MS. At this point I'm hoping for the best. I think I'll feel better once I can get back to my routine. On top of everything else, PMS i****ting hard!!! When it rains, it pours! LOL.
I hope everyone has a great week!

Becka,
So sorry to hear that you're having health issues. For so many of us, getting beyond the health issues is a key factor in our decision to have the surgery. You don't expect to be back in that boat so soon... But, it does sound like one of those things that may have developed even if you had not had the surgery and you'd be dealing with it as a super morbidly obese person instead of where you are now!
Sending hugs and prayers that they figure it out soon and can do something to make you feel better!

Well, my dear best friend Aunt Flo has reared her ugly presence by showing up a week early so my weight is at 262 today. She's already overstayed her visit and it's time for her to take a hike for at least another month....lol.
My goal for this go around is to hopefully get started with a water aerobics class. I've been wanting to join one for quite some time, and since my husband and I just got a very unexpected check in the mail (wooooohoooooooo!!!!) I'm thinking about using some of it to start paying for classes.
Have a good week everyone! =)

I've been wanting to join a mini-challenge. I guess this is it! My highest weight was a little over 330 (in May). That was as high as my scale went, but within 2 days of dieting, I was registering, so it had to be pretty close to that. On the day of surgery, I was 302. Now, almost 8 weeks out---I am at 260.5. Pretty excited with the results so far. Setting my Halloween goal at 235. Probably too much---but hope so!
My goal is to up my exercise to something a little more aerobic than just walking. I'm thinking of resurrecting my Gazelle. That always used to leave me gasping LOL.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi Lea and All,
Happy Sunday! I've spent the last week in the hospital with my mother who had surgery and is just now starting to do well. I haven't been on the scale first thing in the morning all week (my usual weigh in time) so I have to go with a 3pm weigh in of 130. That's one pound higher than normal so I guess I'm ok. I'll try to have a real weigh in for the next roll call.
My goal is to get my family healthy. My whole family! I've seen first hand how having serious health problems drains everyone. I'd really like to see them all feeling good and doing well by Halloween and I'm making it my mission to "help them along"!!! LOL..whether they like it or not!
Have a great evening!
Christie
Hello everyone!
My weight today is 186...I think that is 2 pounds up from last weeks weight. I am so frustrated with not losing any weight. I think on the last challenge I only lost 4 pounds total...are you kidding me when the heck is this going to change.
During this challenge I would like to accomplish getting my depression under control. I have an appointment with my PCP this Thursday and I am hoping he will prescribe a medication that will help me and not make me gain weight. I really need to do something that will help because it is taking a toll on my work and on my family life.
Thanks, Lea. I appreciate your kind words. The only thing the doctors seem sure about so far is that the problems I'm having now are NOT related to my RNY. My GP thinks the same thing you and I do...having so much of the weight off will make getting better easier. Whatever this is, I'm just glad I got some of my strength back before it hit. Also, the way I eat and exercise now will only help me get better.
Thanks again!
Becka
