ROLL CALL!! Aug 27th, 2007
Hi Lea & gang;
Well definately don't think I am going to meet my WLG for this challege. Had enough health challenges lately with the vitamin deficeny things going on! Hope it was the low B-1 as major contributor to my slowed and stalled WL.. My weight this week is 197 I don't remember if this was any loss or not; my goal was 185. hmmmmmm. Has this surgery and lifestyle change affected you concerning intimacy with your spouse or significant other?
How is your sex drive since having the surgery?? better/stronger or much less? Are you bolder, more intimidated, etc. We'd also like to see some feedback on how others relationships have changed either for the good or for the bad post op. Let's avoid being vulgar but answer as thoroughly and truthfully as you can!
My sex drive since surgery has increased. I feel less likey to hide or say no. Not in pain all the time and that has been a big factor in it! Hubby is very pleased with all the results needless to say. haha ha. Intamacy is always better when your less fearful, have more self esteem; and aren't in constant pain..
Going to really work hard on this next challenge to get healthier, bring up my vitamin levels; and get of this long stall to losing weight! Wishing everyone the best of all with the next challenge to Halloween. Hey maybe I will be that french maid for Halloween.. I'm bringin back! Hugs, Judy R
Well, I'm staying at the 169/179 mark so 160 isn't happening this week, however I'll keep that for halloween goal so put that down Lea 160 for JudyB....
Intimacy... I have moments where I'm pretty brazen, and moments when I still want to just disappear...I don't have a drive per say, however, I am more interested in"being there for kenny." I did have a hysterectomy 4 years ago, and that comes into play... It is nice to be creative and to participate more, I think I'll be more confident once I get my tummy skin removed, but it doesn't affect him, like most of your hubbys it's not been a real issue.. to him... He loves the fact that he can wrap his arms all the way around me and then some... and I like that too... I got a gift card for my anniversary for surgery from a friend and I'm going to Macys and pick out some pretty lingerie...
Well I do not believe I will be meeting my labor day goal. I am holding at 247. My goal was 240. I fell last Saturday and really messed up my knee and hip so exercise has been kind of out of the question. I know that I have to give up the "snacking". It is not helping at all. I also need to increase my water intake but find it harder then I thought it would be.
As far as intimacy, there is none to report on. I have been divorced since Dec of 2004 and have not had a date since Sept of 2006 (not that it would matter). I believe intimacy belongs within the bounderies of marriage. If and when God ever brings another husband into my life I will let you know then if it is better........lol.
Good morning Lea,
My weight today is 233.5. Down 2.5 from last week and only 3.5 from my revised Labor Day goal (230).
My goal for the Halloween challange is 205 (my hands are shaking just typing that number) LOL I never imagined that I would be at that weight so soon.
As for the question...drive is the same, hubby is thrilled being able to wrap his arms around me, and for sure everything is easier and more enjoyable.
Good luck all,
Sandy
Weighed in this morning at 197. Only one pound this week and two away from my goal of 195.Weather has cooled down some and the kids start back to school today so I should have more free time to get to walking. My Halloween goal will be 185. My DH has always loved me no matter what. Our alone time has always been wonderful and continues to be. I am less self conscious and have relaxed a bit more. I am blessed to have someone as loving as him.
I am up nto 169.5. But, I am down to a size 12 in my jeans..and shorts....YEAH!!!!!!
I am happy with the inches coming off. That is why I am not too upset about not being 160. Maybe I can be down to 166 by Sept 9 my 49th birthday.
Question of the week, not much of a difference. I think age and hormones have taken care of that.
