Agian I was really bad about not exercising, but tomorrow will be better, b/c I have gotten my teeth fixed so I am not in severe pain anymore. Here is what I ate... cup of decaf coffee water 2 pieces of Challah 4 mini sugar free cookies 2 wedges of light laughing cow cheese with 3 crackers 1/2 cup of ckn pot pie cup of decaf tea protein bullet

hey, not being pushy but you need to punch up the protein... since you like coffee can you try making a protein shake with soy milk or skim milk and protein powder chocolate flavor, and put your decaf in the mix? whirl up in a blender with some ice and maybe splenda? yummy... I'm concerned about your carbs... but again not a nutritionist....

Heather, Please let me ditto what Judy said about your protein. Was this an average day for you or was it a bad day food wise? At 2+ mos postop, you should be consistently getting in yo 60+ grams of protein EVERY day. Now we ALL have bad days! And those first 2 mos are killer. But, they (those bad days) need to be few and far between at this point in order to maximize your weight loss... By the end of 3 mos postop, you should be getting 65 to 80 grams of protein in each and every day and the more you get from food sources (mixed amino acid sources), the better off you are as it is better absorbed than through supplementation... The protein bullets are okay as a backup, but you need to be getting more from food too! For me, my day was as follows: breakfast was bacon lunch was a protein snack from Kay's Naturals snack of a slice of Nature's Own double-fiber bread with peanut butter dinner was italian sausage in marinara sauce over Barilla high-protein pasta with parmesan cheese later snack of white cheddar popcorn For the whole day, I got in about 80 grams of protein, 1200 calories, and drank 90+ ozs of liquids. My exercise was push mowing for one hour! Hugs, Lea

The past week or so was hard with the protein b/c of my teeth. I can't eat any meat, it makes me sick, and I usually supplement the protein with the bullet(42 grams) and cheese, soy nuts and yogurt. before I had such problems with my teeth, I was getting at least 60 grams in sometimes more like 65, My nut said to aim for 70, but that is really hard. I really appreciate all of your help and support!!! I will work harder.
