back problems

Has anyone heard of a surgery called Anterior Lumber Interbody Fusion....had mri and the spine doctor wants to d this on me.....i would love to email or talk with someone about it ..if you have had it or know someone...thanks and God Bless....karen

Hi Karen, Ihad spinal fusion in 2001.I think what your asking about is mwhen they go through the front( stomach) to do it instead of the back.
