Started researching my family about 2 years ago. It's exciting. Always looking for clues into the BLEDSOE, LAFOLLETTE, STROUP, HARVEY, REID, NELSON, WHEELER gang from TENNESSEE and NORTH CAROLINA.

We rsearch all the time and have some pretty good sites you can use. Be careful of the LDS web site, the post are sumitteed by people who sometimes don't do all of their homework. we don't put any thing in our data base unless we can cross ref it at least 2 time but our normal standard is 3 sources. These can come from a number of sources. Start collecting copies of documents and put them in protection sleeves. This is fun and latter when you put a book togather these wll wl act as support documentaion. Better shut up I could go no for days.
