skinny people **** ME OFF

I am feeling the need to vent. Here's my issue with skinny people: I went to work this morning feeling good about myself. I have lost about 18 lbs on my pre-op diet and have been exercising and I was feeling pretty good. I put wore a new super cute skirt that hits just above the knee (of course it has shorts underneath to keep my fat legs from rubbing together) and a black shirt. I was feeling sexy. At lunch time I went into the faculty lounge and there was a giant tray of home made chocolate chip cookies. Of course I grabbed one and ate it while my lunch was heating up in the microwave. And along came two skinny *****es (pardon my french) complaining about the fact that there were these cookies and they are going to have to ruin their diets now. So they sat there eating their salads discussing the diet they are on and "i feel so fat this and I feel so fat that" I was taking it pretty well thinking inside that they have no idea what it is like to be fat when the real tall skinny one really pissed me off. She is 5' 9" tall and says she weights 160 lbs and she constantly complains how she needs to lose 30 more lbs. Then she says "I REALLY SYMPATHIZE WITH JOLEENE, SHE JUST HIT 201 POUNDS. I CANT EVEN IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE THAT BIG. SHE IS SO DEVASTATED" Joleen, by the way was 9 months pregnant when she hit 201 lbs. She is a very tall lady as well, so 200 lbs on her was not that much at all considering how pregnant she is. So me, 5' 3" and 270lbs, was feeling like a total piece of **** That just ruined my day. I left the room grabbing another cookie and enjoying every bite of it. Thanks for listening, I just had to vent.

Sierra, Honey I am so sorry that you left the room feeling the way you did. It really ****** me off to hear people complain about their weight, when in my eyes they are fine. But, we have to stop and think. These people have never experienced what we go through. They have no clue what its like to live in our bodies. So, to them I am sure they are big. NOT in any way trying to make excusses for them. I think more people should be considerate of what they say when they are around other people. I look at my self and still see a fat nasty looking person. I hope your day gets better. HUGGGGSSS to you, Melissa

I know that people like that are frustrating but look at it this way.If they can look at their thin bodies and be so miserable then they will never be happy with themselves. You however will appreciate and enjoy the new smaller you and will be very happy with your size and the butterfly you've become. Remember caterpillars can become butterflies --moths can't. Same shape and general size but beauty must be grown into. Let those skinny moths keep bumping their heads on the light bulb and you be happy about your journey to being a butterfly. Dannielle
