Happy Dance

I posted awhile back about my meeting Dr. Kellum and him wanting me to lose 40 pounds by June. Well I won't be having Dr. Kellum as my surgeon (long story - will have to update about that later) but I didn't stop the diet I put myself on because I knew the more I lost before surgery, the less I would have to lose afterwards. Well, as of yesterday morning I have lost 19 pounds. I lost 9 the first two weeks and then nothing the third week (last Friday - very depressing) and then this Friday I got on the scale (at work - Doctors scale - every Friday) and I was down 11 pounds in a week. I am just THRILLED! I know it is going to get better after surgery, but I have been working my butt off on this diet and I'm actually getting somewhere and I am really excited so I had to share.
