HI MY FAMILY UPDATE( long one)
Well family, let me tell you I have had such a hectic week. Well I am getting mentally prepared i will not to have a job soon, my partner told me not to worry because we will be okay. As I told you in previous post I will no longer have a job as of 3/17. I worked for the company for 10 years but since they really put me through Hell during the time I was trying to get approved for surgery, I am not too upset.
Well my partner was told that she also has too have surgery, while trying to give blood at work for charity for the red cross, we found out that my partner is anemic, from what the dr said her blood count should be 38, well my partner was a 20. So I went to the store and purchase iron pills. Well tuesday morning she was off to work as normal, she said that she felt like she had to through up. Well when she got to work she called me and told me that she threw up and that she felt better. I told her that she can't take iron on an empty stomach, she didn't listen. I was at work for about 30 minutes I talked to her again she said I am okay. Well not less that 5 mins later, one of her co workers called me and said that the ambulance was called and that my partner stopped breathing. I thought I was going to faint, I was so scared. I told my boss, that, I have to go. Needless to say I actually beat the ambulance to the hospital. They told us that my partner had a blood clot in her lung, I just lost it. My partner has been my everything for 10 years, I love her with all my heart. I was so scared.
Well the hospital kept her for 2 days, when my partner has her monthly she loses lots of blood due to a pollip (I hope I am spelling that right) They told us that it could be cancerous, so they will be sending it away for testing. You better believe that I slept right next to her the whole time she was at the hospital. They told us I would have to leave my partner said either I leave and go to another hospital or my partner stays. I stayed. Well the dr say my partner has to have surgery asap, because she has an enlarged heart, which since her blood level is so low that as the dr said she is running on empty, so they had to give her a transfusion. 3 PINTS OF BLOOD. (I AM SO STRESSED LET ME TELL YOU.)
I also did my pretesting for wls , I am so excited . I don't know if it just me, but did anyone have to drink something called barium, when you do the upper gi test. Oh my gosh that stuff is awful I am having flashback and I start to gag when I think about it, I want to . We I am just waiting for test results I guess. My partner was approved off for 1 month to take care of me which is cool because she will have enought time off to have her surgery too, so that I can take care of her.
I just wanted to say thank you family for all of your support. We had a rough time when I kept getting denied surgery, I don't what I would have done if you guys weren't here for me, I love you all.

Sherry,
I am so sorry to hear about your partner. What a terrible time this must be for you. I truly hope things work out for her and she makes it through her surgery with no complications.
I did not have to drink the barium for my upper GI, before surgery but I had to drink it afterwords. OMG, what a horrible taste. I am only glad I did not have to do it more than once.
I will keep you and your partner in my thoughts, please keep us posted on how things are going for the two of you.
