MORE GOOD NEWS!

Hi My Friends, I saw the last Dr. today and got the go ahead for surgery. I guess it is really going to happen. OMG i am so excited and nervous at the same time. Also, I lost 11 lbs. since Friday. I have been on a liquid protein diet, but have allowed myself one small meal for dinner. Just couldn't do it the other way. I am so happy right now. I am having two friends over this weekend for a pajama party and scrapbooking, and hopefully they will keep my mind off things. Sunday and Monday I will be on clear liquids. We will leave on Monday to go to the hotel, and then Tuesday is the big day. Wow! Love Ya'll, Rosa

Yes it is Jen! That is so cool that you scrap and stamp too. Wish we lived closer so we could scrap together. Did you scrap your surgery? If so, how about some tips. I already told Karen to take pictures of EVERYTHING so I don't miss a thing. I know I will be scrapping my journey as soon as I start feeling better. Hugs, Rosa

it surely sounds that soon you will be on the loser's bench. Just so you know there is a space right beside me. I think it is so wonderful that you so close. Try and relax between now and Tuesday. Just remember why you are doing this. I was nervouse right until the day of surgery. The day of surgery, I knew it was what I wanted and the nervousness left me. Thanks Maureen! I have been a nervous wreck, but I am also very excited. The thing that worries me the most (other than dying) is that they will get in there and figure out they have to cut me open.
