Thrush... I have all these sores in my mouth and a sore throat that is preventing my from drinking like I want to. Eating is out of the question. I am waiting to here from my pcp's partner to see what he can do for me. I was wondering if you all could send me good wishes, I am miserable and all I do is cry. Hope you all are doing well Erin

Erin, I am sorry to hear about the thru****s noramlly caused by antibiotics, and is easily cured with an medicated oral mouth rinse. Good luck getting treatment quickly and I am thinking of you and praying for your speedy recovery. Maureen

I got thrush after I had my appendix out. YUCK! I hated it and it hurt really bad. But the good news is that it doesnt take too long for it to get better. I wish you luck and a quick feeling better tongue!

Tell that PCP to get you some Nystatin Swish and Swallow!!! It works wonders!! If you can get some Magic Mouthwash, that would even be better, because it has pain medicine, antibiotic, and Benadryl for the swelling/pain. Don't let 'em put you off!!! Sending you love, Feel better soon, Jessica

My gf is here. I am just glad she is off the weekend. it is hard when she works third and I feel so bad. My dog follows me around making sure I am ok.

I did finally get a prescription last night around five. I have swished and swallowed twice. My mouth still hurts. OMG. Some of the ulcers have burst. Hopefully in the morning we will get a hold of this.
