Something to Give Thanks For...
Hello to you all. First and foremost, I want to thank you all for the incredible support that is shared in this room. Each and everyone of you in your own way has so much to offer one another.
My last post, made me sound like a depressed poor honey...but I think it was worst then it really is. I am doing extremely well...a little disappointed in losing only 2 and 1/2 pounds this week as opposed to the typical four...but I am fine!!! Since I started the research process for surgery...I have lost 108 pounds. Since surgery itself, I have lost about 72 of those pounds. I am down from a 56 waist to a 42. I have (for the most part) only one chin..now... All in all everything is going well!!!
Needless to say, I want say how thankful I am for this room and for each of you....HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
Danny-O!! You've dropped over 100 pounds...I think that's just amazing!!!!
Whoda thunk you could work your butt off and drop so much weight, so fast!!! I know we want to see that scale moving to the left faster, because we're sticking to our diets, and we're getting in our exercise, but honey, you know, our bodies have to come to terms with what is happening to it: i.e. :PLATEAU!! Our weight loss slows down at times so our bodies can come to grips with the weight loss, and new proprotions your body is morphing into... Be patient with yourself. You're doin' all the right stuff: you know you are!!! So keep your chin up, Daniel. I'm tremendously proud of you, and know you're going to continue to turn that body into a fat losing machine!!!
Happy Thanksgiving, and please stay safe!!!
I'm thankful for all of you our there posting your stories, giving kind, loving, and sound advice, and for offering selfless support to all of us *****ally need it.
