So friday 11/11 i weighed in at 431 pounds, my parnter and I went to see the nutristionist, who put me on a low fat diet until possible wls, Well I weighed on the next friday the scale went from 411-413 , we couldn't believe it. My parnter is so supportive, I love her with all my heart. I am so happy that she put me on her insurance, she is giving me the gift of life, I just can't believe how good she is too me. The last time I went through the approval process 1 year and a half I was an emotional wreck. These insurance companies don't realize that the word DENIEDl is so powerful. They say no to we don't care if wls is medically necessary, for you to live your contract says no. I am putting my faith in GOD it is a true blessing to be put on my partner's insurance, and I thank God. Thank you family for listening

Great Job Sherry, You know my nutritionist is a huge supporter of the surgery. And she said to me that since only 1% of dieters are able to keep the weight off perminantly going by normal diet and exercise alone any weight loss on a diet should be seen as a huge accomplishment. It is pure determination and will power because your body is prone to fighting you every step of the way and tries to hold on to the weight. It doesn't matter what happens later, you should be so proud of yourself!!! So my hope, prayer, and positive thoughts for you today are either this is a merely a milestone to surgery or that you are in that 1%!!!!! Have a fantastic day!!!

Congratulations on the weight loss Sherry!! I'm so happy that insurance companies are now recognizing domestic partnership. If my insurance company didn't approve me my partner was going to put me on her insurance. Your partner sounds like she is going to be a steady shoulder to lean on during this process. The surgery process was so emotional for me, it really helps having a stong support person (a partner or friend) who loves you unconditionally. Jaimee

Girlfriend!!! You are a'shrinkin!!! I'm so glad that you're with a supportive partner who can stand beside you as you fight this toughest of battles. I can't imagine if I didn't have my Pattie here to support me while I learn to eat and live a very different way... I'm feeling so positive for you and for this new insurance company. I wish you a speedy approval, and all the luck in the world with preparing for this life saving surgery. You deserve to be happy, healthy, and well. Keep updating us on how the process is going. I'm pulling for you, Sherry! Happy Thanksgiving! Jessica

What a blessing you are! The Lord is going to be with you throughout this process. And I know exactly what you mean about having a loving, supportive partner being by your side. Believe me, I've been through a lot myself, and denial takes its toll. You keep on, ya hear? It's coming, girl! I can feel it! Peace, Kaye L-J
