HEY, Get Posting Pals
Hi, Folks:
I haven't posted here much, but I thought I'd join the fun. I spent the weekend in Cape Charles, Virginia, at a beach house with my wife and parents. We had fun...but my parents are uptight Christians, so we didn't spend much time in their presence hugging or kissing - they just couldn't take it. They went to church yesterday, though, so we had some fun then.
I'm ten weeks out tomorrow, and I've lost 75 pounds. I'm so happy with the new me. I can walk and carry on a conversation. I can buy clothes in a tourist gift shop (I wear an XL, down from 5X!).
It is great to see other GLBTQ people out there. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one in Charlottesville...you know, that lesbian Unitarian gastric bypass person that lives with her wife.
Hugs to all - have a great week.

Jessica Turner reporting for roll call, Ma'am!!
Work, work, work, work, work!!! That is the story of my life. With the holidays coming up, I'm just putting in some extra hours so I can splurge on my wife and my kids. That new IPOD with 15,000 songs on it costs $400 bucks!!! We don't usually but a lot of gifts, but some of the stuff I want to buy is a bit pricey, if you know what I mean!!! My oldest will be running off to college next year, so I've been doing my homework on laptop computers... Those babies will set you back a pretty penny, too! But my sweetheart will absolutely love the new IPOD, and the one she has is just about FULL---and my daughter deserves a nice computer to go with her nice new college!!!
Anyhew....that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Take care everyone, and let's all enjoy our family and friends at this wonderfully celebratory time of year!!!
Off to get some work done!
Jessica
