MN GLBT WLS folks get-together!?

Michael had a great idea - those of us who are GLBT WLS (pre & post or thinking about it) should get together. It'd be a great way to meet people, swap ideas/recipes, talk, and just feel like we have some support. Who's in? I know the holidays can be busy so I propose we meet some Saturday or Sunday for coffee or something. Bring your partner, come yourself, or with a friend if you'd like. It'd be great to meet everyone. I know I have a ton of questions myself as well! Who's up for it?

So, I posted this on the MN board as well at Lara's suggestion. I'm thinking next Saturday (the 12th) ?? What's a good central location? I know its packed Saturday mornings otherwise I'd suggest the Anodyne in South Minneapolis. We could do a suburban Caribou or Starbucks too. Where's everyone coming from?

I am open to any location and date. I think if we pick a central location more people would come. But with where I live, nothing is central....LOL Chad

Well, not unless we were meeting at the new Cabela's! Nick would like that (not me!). I have a friend at work who lives in Otsego too. I guess everything is relative, so what would be a good central location? Seems everyone I've seen on the GLBT boards from MN with the exception of one is from the northern 'burbs.

Maybe Uptown area?
