Ambulance had to come get me from work today.
Today we had a power outage at work, the note on the door said that we had to take the elevator. So I refused I sat down stairs on the first floor for 2 1/2 hours. So at 10am the vice president said that he was going to have a meeting on what to do. Well I had a cell phone and told them to call me to tell me what was going on , so when I recieved the call they said that he would not be sending us home, he just wanted us to read our work standards. Well they sent 3 people to help me up the 3 flight of stairs. Well afterwards I started wheezing and coudn't breath. Finally I got upstair ,I sat down I really started feeling funny I though I was having a heart attack I was so scared I stared crying, so They called my parnter, she met me at the hospital . ER doctor said that the wls is what I need he said that the found platlets or something like that. I have never been so scared in my life, my girl was a nervous wreck, they call her at work as and extreme emergency she was so scared. This has really scared me.
I'm sorry you had such a scare but, am glad to hear you are well enough to be home now. Phew ! No more stair climbing when the power goes out ! You certainly know your limitations so if you're ever in a situation like this again you can say " I can't climb stairs because I get severe shortness of breath and feel like I'm having a heart attack". I'm so they even suggested you climb stairs......what's wrong with those people. Could'nt a copy of the work standards be printed and sent down to you ? Bless you and your partner...this was a fright you both could've done without. Rest now OK ?
What a horrible experience, I am so glad you are alive and if not well, better!
According to the ADA they must make acomodations for disabilities, and someone could have brought you a manual.
I am so so glad that you were here to relay this story, instead of a worse version that could have happened.
You and your Girl are blessed!
