Hello Is Anyone Out There
Hi Ed, I am glad that someone agrees. I would not even know where to start with telling you about me. Ahm lets see I reside in Houston, I am 25, I have been with my partner for almost 5 years. I dont know what else you want to know, but I appreciate you taking the time to ask. Tell me about you?

Yea. . .it gets a little slow here. . .
I tend to be very regular on my State board, and my month board. Fortunately for me/unfortunately for this board they are very supportive of me as an out lesbian. They tend to be willing to go there with me on almost any discussion.
Ok. Start the chatter - tell us what you want from support. Ask questions and let us support you.
Huggles,
~Lara
Hi Lara, it is great that you are able to receive the support that you not only need but deserve from your state board. I really am not typically the chatter box but I came into this forum a couple of times and just noticed that people did not post much. I don't have any questions in particular I just enjoy the constant conversations and support that the other boards share and thought that it would be nice if this board could do the same.

Why don't we start by telling something about ourselves. As you know, my name is Ed and I live in Bolingbrook IL. My partner, Dennis and I have been together for the past 18 years. He is so supportive of me, I am truly blessed. I am the Finance/Human Resources Manager for an Integrated Direct Marketing Company in Chicago. I enjoy movies, music (all kinds), reading, decorating, shopping, internet surfing, etc. I am trying to teach myself to play the keyboard. We have no children, just one cat. We'd like to get a Dalmatian puppy, but haven't yet. I am trying to get approval for Biliopancreatic Diversion w/Duodenal Switch weight loss surgery. My insurance (Blue Advantage) doesn't cover it, but I am going to fight them on appeal.
Ok, who's next?
Ed
Okay here's about me - My partner & I have been together 19 years - we live int he mountains of California outside of Yosemite - I am the Marketing Coordinator for a health center & she works at a local Casino - we have two dogs, 4 cats & about 5 other adopted cat strays (I refuse to call them ours - though I do feed them & we've had them neutered/spayed) We are working on becomming the crazy cat women of our town. hmmm - we enjoy the usual dyke things - beer brawls & whips - well - we do love beer & I do occassionally asked to be disciplined... oh I think I'm off topic.
We're pretty vanilla & boring a great weekend for us is lunch at the nearest asian fusion restaurant and a movie, or a hike in the hills with the pooches & an afternoon clearing brush - VERY exciting life. but it's good & homey and there is much love.
