hello everyone, my partner is upset.

i am due to have my sleep apena test on 09/09 , my partner wants to spend the night at the hospital with me, the hospital says no , i understands why she wants to stay with me , when i go to bed at nite and wake up choking she is the one that wakes me up , she said she will just spend the nite in the waiting room , i want her to go home and get some sleep, she doesn't sleep well at nite because i snore so bad , i told her that i will be hooked up to machines and if i wake up choking and can't catch my breath there is someone there. i just want her for one nite to get some rest , do you think i am wrong? because she feels like i don't want her there , do you think i am wrong ?

Hi Sherry - I think that you are lucky to have such a supportive partner (and you are obviously one too or you wouldn't want her to get some rest.) I think that you should let her make up her own mind about what she does. If she's worried about you she's not going to sleep well at home without you. So - do your thing and she can do hers.
